CAN CATS HAVE EGGS? HOW AN EGG CAN SAVE YOUR CATS LIFE!

Previously I talked about whether you can give milk to your cat (click here to give it a read!). Today we are going to be talking all about eggs and the benefits it has for your cat. We will also discuss how an egg can actually save a cat’s life! Make sure you read till the end!

First and foremost, you can give your cat an egg. However, obviously, you can’t just give it eggs on its own. It will also need chicken, meat, rice, potatoes etc.

You can even give your cat a raw egg, but half-boiled is the best form in which you can give your cat an egg. Some cats like an omelet, but you shouldn’t be giving it to them. There may be spices, oil, and onions, which can be harmful. You can, however, use a non-stick pan and make sure it’s just plain egg without spices and etc.

You can use egg as a snack/treat and only give it occasionally. Some people are vegetarian/vegan, so ask if their cats can also be vegetarian/vegan. Cats are carnivores, which means that they need to eat meat to survive. Not giving meat or chicken to your cat daily is very cruel.

How can an egg save a dying cat?

If your cat has eaten something toxic/poisonous, you can give it a white egg, which will help give it relief. You can give it 2/3 times a day but make sure not to add any yolk in!

Eggshells can also be beneficial because they contain calcium. You can add it to your cat’s diet but make sure you do your own research first.
